Update

American Soldier says,

Hi all. Mrs. AS here. I wanted to let you all know how American Soldier is doing.

He is doing very well. Training very hard everyday. He is in charge of his own platoon. His shoulder is doing well. As the days go by he gets more excited to go over seas and serve his country.

Thanks for teh update, Mrs AS -
Becky had written that your husband’s deployment will bring her husband home after a LONG year. What a wonderful Christmas gift AS is indirectly providing by giving another soldier a chance to get back home for a while — and what a sacrifice you wives make alongside your husbands. My godson and his wife were both serving in the Army - he was stateside and she was in the Middle East - and their baby was left behind with his two sets of grandparents for a year. How they missed that baby! So often, we go about our lives forgeting the sacrifices that you military families make, and that is a shame. I wish you a Merry Christmas - hope AS’s shoulder holds up - and may he be safe.

    Mrs AS,
A simple thank you cannot express my gratitude and respect for your husband and all those who serve in the military. Their honor, dignity, and sacrifice is an example to all of us. You and the other families on the homefront are in our thoughts and prayers as well.

To both of you, stay strong and stay safe.

  14. JP Says:

Great to hear. I still owe him a case of beer (I mean, Listerine) wink wink

  15. Argie Says:

    Stay Safe Soldier,

    God bless America.
