XBOX 360
American Soldier says,
If anyone happens to come across an XBOX 360 and wants to part ways with it or finds one at a local Walmart/Target and would like to sell it. Drop me an email. 
I will be the official Desert Tester for Sony.

They sell them at Target too. The makers are being true to form and only putting out limited numbers. I can try to find out if they will get any more in and what the price would be with a discount.
XBOX 360, the only game system my sons DON’T have.
If they want that one they can buy it….Yeah, that’s it they can buy it. heheheh

Hehehe… but ya just never know… One of my soldiers “jokingly” asked me to send him some “north Georgia snow” ~ so i did!
Well, kind of… well, ok, it hasn’t actually SNOWED here yet… but I did get a bag of “fake snow” from walmart and put “Genuine Imitation North Georgia Snow” on it, LOL 
Ummm… i had a point with this comment, now I wonder what it was?!

It’s funny you are poking fun about the XBX 360. I recently got yelled at from a customer because “we” didn’t have them in stock. Ah, the Christmas spirit surely comes out in everyone *cough cough* My store has received a total of 3! Yes boys and girls I said a whole 3! We had reserves for 25 most of which aren’t getting filled as you can see. Our local Best Buy got 3 shipments of at least 15 each, which was sold out, from what I hear, in moments. Now if you do a search on EBAY you’ll see that the majortiy of the people who bought them have turned around to sell them there for an enormous amount since the supply and demand is so high. Let’s hear it for the American Entrepreneur who’s turned money hungry!
I found the last one at our local computer store today. Just by luck i happened to stop in. I was looking for a game and didn’t figure they’d have one. But when a manager strolled by something made me ask. And he said, very quietly i might add, yes!!!
So, i have one happy soldier!

AAFES and Microsoft sure aren’t doing a good job on working this one. Every XBOX 360 I’ve heard about in theater has been snatched up in momnets, yet the PXs can’t seem to get more than 18 at a time.

My old regiment The Kings Own Royal Border Regiment is in the South of Iraq at the moment, my son in law`s brother Royal Irish Regiment [ IRISH RANGERS } is doing the runs from the airport to the Green Zone which can Be a bit shitty.

Hey David,
David - AAFES workers don’t even know what they got in stock half the time. They give you the same type of answer as Walmart employees. “Umm, whatever we got is on the shelves.” or “I don’t know!”.
It gets pretty annoying when people are getting paid and they don’t go the extra mile to atleast attempt to find out.
I dislike going to Wally World with a passion!! No one ever seems know exactly where their product is and I normally end up walking the entire Super Center. What floors me is I ask employees along the way and am told “such and such” is in all different places. Hell maybe they have it stocked in the invisible mouse hole!! Working in retail myself, maybe I’m just harsh but jesus; heaven forbid if they have to walk a few extra steps to check their backroom for products. I mean if it wasn’t for us CUSTOMERS those ever so pleasant employees wouldn’t be standing there having a chit chat fest and getting paid for it
Well, I got my boys one. But they would kill me in my sleep if I sold it.
I’m glad there is someone out there that hates “Wally World” as much as I do…

It’s past the “giving” season, but incase no one has heard. There is a site “soldiersangles.org” where you can adopt a soldier and send letters and gift packs to help them out. Give it a read.

Thank you for the thought. I found him one right after Christmas. He is eagerly awaitng it’s arrival. I’m sure ther are others who would like to have the opportunity to “try” one out. Check out Soldiers Angels or Adopt a Platoon. They could point in the right direction.
