Holy Sand Mud Batman!

American Soldier says,

I gotta say this one thing. The rain season here sucks! The crap that’s on the ground is not even real mud. It’s sand mush. It’s like the ground got a case of diarrhea!

It’s going to be busy for the next couple of days but I wanted to pop in and say hello and give you that nice visual of what the ground is like in this part of the world.

Thank you for what you are doing and what your family is sacrificing. The visual is a good description of what is in my future I presume. I’ll be joining the Army here in the next few months and feel I need to do my part. Hope all is well in the desert - keep safe my friend.

  18. Rosemary Says:

I don’t want you to think this is happening because you made a lot of people cry with that last post…lol. I cannot even imagine what you are describing. I am from upstate NY, and we had nasty rain Storms. Even still, we also had solid ground.

I pray you find a way to stay dry. Do you need anything? Let us know. My e-mail is in my profile. Keep your head down, your powder dry, and know that we are praying for you. Thank you, AS.

  19. AFSister Says:

    YES!
AS is “in country”…. right where you want to be.
It may be mush, and half way around the world, but something makes me think you’re kinda happy right now.

Be safe, and keep the posts coming. PLEASE.. PLEASE let me know your addy. I love sending care packages and letters. Even if you don’t need them, perhaps some of your guys will. My boys love drawing pictures for our Soldiers too.
