Zarqawi fumbling

American Soldier says,

I don’t give a rats ass if he doesn’t know how to properly load/maintain an M249. Does this dimish the fact of who he is? It’s the media playing the ‘look he is a dumb dumb game’. The MSM’s are a bunch of asshats, well not all but if the shoe fits, wear it!

Why was this even news? Why can’t the MSM’s show the progess in Iraq intead of trying to play fuck fuck games about Al Queda’s leadership? Who really cares?

Yup, another fine example of the MSM’s illustrious priorities.
Glad your back kicking A$$ ~

  2. Donna Says:

That piece of crap couldn’t hold a weapon properly but he sure can handle a knife to cut people’s heads off. He is a dangerous “son of a beatch that needs to be taken out. I think he is having some help from Iraqis who are not telling where he is hiding or they are afraid to turn him in one.

The MSM tells anything that will bring in ratings and unfortunately the bad stuff seems to win out!

  3. Warthog Says:

He prefers IED’s, which he is quite good at making. He also has plenty of cash via syria and iran to buy “friends”. I hope he is taken alive and brought to a secure, secret place for “Questioning”.

  4. FVK Says:

AS — I agree that this video of “Zarq” is hardly newsworthy, but what really pisses me off, is the fact that he had a SAW.

  5. mik Says:

Actually, to the extent that this may get around to people in the Sunni Triangle and further deflate his image among the locals, this might be a good thing. Reportedly, people in that area are already beginning to reject him. Hopefully, things like this will put him further on ropes, erode his base of support and his aura of invincibility, and eventually lead to somebody giving Coalition forces a hot tip to go off in locating him.

That, of course, has nothing to do with the media’s intentions on reporting on this story. ;-)

  6. Murf Says:

“..play fuck fuck games”? That’s funny.

  7. AFSister Says:

I’m with FVK. I’m pissed he had the weapon, not that he didn’t know how to use it properly. I don’t really give a rat’s ass if he can load or fire a gun. His weapon is his mind, and his position in the insurgency. Too bad we can’t make his mind fumble, eh?

  8. fstarssblink182 Says:

ok, call me dumb, but what is MSM agian??

I think it was the army that was putting the Zarqawi outakes out for public consumption, which the MSM picked up on. Blame the army first. MSM second.

  12. Rosemary Says:

You really want me to answer that? lol. How are doing? I hope you are feeling well. I have a site over at DoD Daily News where I try to bring the progress to the people. It’s getting out. Keep your chin up. You deserve to be proud.

  13. Tank Says:

Best blog design I’ve seen to date.

  14. Another Soldier Says:

You have a good point. This shouldn’t make the news. Since when should some douche fuck get to be shown all over while the GOOD things that we are actually doing over there are being quietly pushed to the back of the closet. Personally, I think that the only way anything should get released to the media is if our own army trained photographers and such are doing the recording. Otherwise, fuck the MSM.

  15. bill Says:

what’s even funnier is the US military can’t even find him!!@ billions of dollars later and still floundering

btw, it was the US gov’t pointing out that he was a bumbling idiot, not the MSM. what’s that make the Pentagon?

  16. Chad Says:

bill - it makes you a dumbass.

  17. Odysseus Says:

Zarqawi’s a petty thug who used to terrorize Jordanian prisons during his criminal career. Fascist Islam has made him into a somebody, but ultimately, he’s a bottom-feeder and those guys are the hardest to catch, but that doesn’t mean that we won’t, or that he won’t roll over on his pals as soon as he realizes that it’s in his interest to do so.

  18. John Says:

Agreed, it makes Bill a dumbass. Killing Osama for instance, would be a tremendous achievement for our military, until the hype started to fade. Then we’d be reminded that despite the sweet taste of revenge, that Islamic Radicalism is a disease. Osama is now a martyr, bringing more and more followers. The snake grows a new head. However, naive Americans would probably start a new “Osama is dead, let’s leave Iraq” argument. How frustrating it can be…

The cure to this disease, Islamic Radicalism, is democracy. Democracy that brings education, which is the light of truth. Education brings peace. Despite our liberal friends here at home, the wise realize that this is a new kind of war. It is a war against an ideology unlike Communism. It is a war against an ideology that specifically wants to murder us. Communists at least had reason, and were threatened by a mutual destruction. Stalin wanted to conquer and expand Communism everywhere, but he did not have the hatred for us that Osama does. Radical Islamists are not just atheists, they are suicidal. We will only lose this war from a loss of nerve. This loss of nerve is being fed by the MSM and left wing politicians.

American soldier I agree that it doesn’t take away from his status as a major enemy. However, I find it amusing that he’s probably embarassed as hell.

  19. John Says:

“Radical Islamists are not just atheists, they are suicidal. ”

Worded that incorrectly. I meant to say that Communists were just atheists, but that Radical Islamists are religiously driven suicidals.

  20. Julie Says:

AS…. the comment section is confusing me. Can you write more of your story soon please?

  21. bill Says:

john, what about presidents that claim they can talk to god and god said to invade Iraq??

  22. krigsforbrytere Says:

US lawmaker and retired Marine colonel accused US marines of killing innocent Iraqi civilians after a Marine comrade was slain by a roadside bomb. “Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood,” John Murtha told reporters. “There was no firefight” that led to the shootings at close range, the Vietnam war veteran said, contradicting early official accounts saying a roadside bomb had killed the Iraqis in the November 19 incident. “There were no (roadside bombs) that killed these innocent people,” he said.

  23. john ryan Says:

Sooo what we are trying to do is to put in place a liberal democracy over there and we are fighting against conservative muslims and supporting liberal muslims

  24. John Says:

John Ryan I think you are confusing political attitudes with political ideologies. You seem to be insinuating that there is some irony in the fact that America’s conservative party is supporting liberal Iraqis. There is no such irony. You have simply confused political attitudes with political ideologies. A liberal political attitude simply means that you support some type of change in your country’s government. Our founding fathers had a liberal political attitude. This however does not mean that they all had liberal ideologies. In fact, if they knew how modern Democrats in America want to ban firearms they’d be shocked. But anyways, yes we are trying to empower people with liberal ATTITUDES in Iraq. Whether their beliefs parallel liberal or conservative IDEOLOGIES as defined by American standards, who knows? I would think they would have beliefs from both sides of the spectrum. They probably support higher social spending, but they also probably support the right to bear arms. Who wouldn’t in a hostile place like Iraq?

  25. Wild Thing Says:

I want you to know I am so grateful to you for serving our country. Those are not just words but are said with all of my heart and appreciation for all you have done.
You are a part of why I am able to live in the land of the free and not one day goes by that I am not grateful to you for that.

You are a part of history that will live forever and my heart is so proud of you!
