Prayer Request

American Soldier says,

I don’t often ask for much but this is important. I have recently made some moves to find a new position. My resume sits with one manager in particular that if I do get the position it will change alot of things for my family and I. I am not trying to get too excited because being let down will be tough. I am trying to get out of the rut in many regards and this new job would definitely help.

So I ask for a few prayers. Maybe it will help a little.

Dear Lord, please send to the manager considering AS’s resume the wisdom to know that this man, Our Soldier, is the only one who can do the job. Please bless AS and his family with many fresh resources, filling their needs. Please deliver to AS deep calm. Allow him to receive Your protection and providence with grace and resilience. Thank you Dear Lord for sparing him the earlier weird job.
And as I go to sleep, please wrap AS in your warm embrace. Please bless him with an open and glad heart to feel You helping him, to make friends with the angels You send to serve him.
    Amen.
G’night Dear Soldier, sleep you and your family well….

AS, I wish you all the success in the world and am praying for you and your family. I truly believe that people who do so much to create Good and foster Joy every day will receive great blessings in return (one of those was sent to you in January). Let’s hope that this job is one of those blessings!

“I truly believe that people who do so much to create Good and foster Joy every day will receive great blessings in return”

I wholeheartedly believe this, but it does seem to me that so many really Good folks suffer some terribly tough times, experience discrimination (like a qualified white man not getting a job when they learn he’s a veteran), have what seems to be a disproportionate amount of negative things happen to them. Maybe I believe this because I’m still waiting for my blessings (I can feel them coming, haha!), but either way, I was raised to believe in Good (but keep an eye out for the bad & evil).

Whatever happens with this position, in your life, and I mean this for R2A also–try as hard as you can not to lose faith in yourself, in the beauty in your life now, in the Good things that are coming to you in the future and for being blessed by God by being born a Good person right from the start (some folks have to learn this, others, well, let‘s not talk about that). Some days it must seem insurmountable with all you have both been through, but from where I sit typing on my laptop, I see two exceptional men who have so much to teach and give to the world, who will raise great children (must acknowledge your wife, too, AS!), and who have so much yet to receive from the world. I am confident you’ll both receive the blessings you deserve and I am praying that this position is a blessing for you, AS!

I humbly asked you please to pray for myself at this difficult & darkess moments of my life. I have been asked to resign from my work and am very very devastated, broken and shattered. Please I beg you to pray hard for me. Also for those who have made such drastic decisions, they show no mercy and not knowing of the damage they have done to the dignity of the person.

I thank you and God bless
    In Jesus Name
    Yours faithfully
